Mass for Laura R. Smith, 93, formerly of Skokie, will be said at 9:30 a.m. Thursday in St. Peter Catholic Church, 8116 Niles Center Rd., in the suburb. Mrs. Smith died Sunday in her residence in Phoenix, where she had lived since 1978. She was a retired sales clerk who had been employed by Marshall Field & Co. and Saks Fifth Avenue. Survivors include a daughter, Eileen C. Block; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a sister.
